What is Intention?

Intention is the power that the mind has to manifest things in reality.

Look around you. Every object that you see that does not come directly from nature came from the mind of a person first.

The computer that you are reading this on was first a vision in someone's mind. When this vision was implemented into a physical form, the power that created it was intention.

Intention is the very basic spiritual force that drives the universe. It is the energy encoded into DNA. It is God in action.

As children of God, we are all imbued with the power to first visualize something in our minds and then manifest it in the physical realm. The fuel that drives manifestation is intention.

The magic of intention is that just by developing it and focusing it, you can create miracles in your life.

No-one really knows how it works, but there is enough anecdotal and experiental evidence to show that intention somehow sets things into motion in the real world. Maybe it's through a form of telepathy. Maybe we affect the very matter that exists around us (quantum physics suggests as much).

Whatever it is, it seems our thoughts do have the power to affect our reality.

(Note your thoughts can "affect" our reality. That does not mean they solely create our reality, nor do your thoughts live in a vacuum. Other people's thoughts also affect reality. Thoughts also cannot defy the basic laws of nature. Don't expect that just by wishing you could fly, you could safely jump off the roof of a 20-story building.)

If thoughts can affect reality, then it is important that we use this power to make the world a better place. Imagine if all the people in the world came together and chose peace instead of war, love instead of hate, and freedom above oppression.

The world would be transformed.
