Reading Wayne Dyer's Power of Intention

I am reading Wayne Dyer's book "The Power of Intention." A friend gave it to me. It is a decent book, though I feel he gets a bit abstract at times. For example, he talks about "beauty" being one of the faces of intention, and I am still not sure what he meant by that. I suppose that as a woman I feel the word "beauty" is too charged with overtones of supermodels for me to find it a spiritual word at this point. :-)

However, I do find he has some good points in the book and I am enjoying it. I will post a full review later.

Looking back on your comment

Looking back on your comment now, you didnt really mean that, did you? I mean, I see beauty every where. Even when I'm not looking.

To me, "beauty" is a charged word and does not make me feel more spiritual, due to the constant pummeling of "beautiful people" by advertising and the media.

I can see both sides, the spiritual "beauty" of things and also how "beauty" in the fashion world has become something that is not really beautiful spiritually.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
